This was an eventful weekend for Macey. On Saturday she said good-bye to her tricycle, and informed me that she was ready for a "big girl bike." Apparently she decided this while I had my back turned in Wal-Mart and she rode down the aisle on a very dazzling Barbie bike. Not only was I impressed that she was riding a bike with training wheels, but I was impressed that she'd taken the time to pull a helmet off the rack and place it on top of her head (never mind it had elbow and knee pads attached that were sticking out the back). Needless to say, we left with a bike. Once back home we took a 1/4 mile bike ride that took an hour and a half because Macey had to stop and carefully move the snails to the side of the path. Bless her heart!

~ A BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR THE BOYS ~
After buying her new bike, Macey shopped diligently for the next day's events......NOAH AND EVAN'S 3RD BIRTHDAY! That was the real reason we were at Wal-Mart to begin with. Macey loves Noah and Evan, and enjoyed their party at Charlemagne School. We often meet there for playdates, and today there was a water slide, water guns, cupcakes, and hours of fun.
