This year Macey chose to be Ariel, from The Little Mermaid. I wanted to dress her up as a candy corn (my favorite treat), or Little Bo Peep (using Murphy as her sheep). But....it is becoming increasingly clear that as a 3 1/2 year old, Macey has a mind of her own. This year was especially fun because she understood the concept of going door to door and saying "Trick or Treat!" The concept she still DIDN'T understand was that you only get 1 piece of candy at each house. Macey two good friends, Noah and Evan, joined us for trick-or-treating. However, Macey was on such a mission that she took off down the sidewalk and never looked back. We'll work on that next year.
